Rolo’s

Having gone to Rolo’s for brunch (only offered on the weekends) and dinner, I can confidently say they’ve got it figured out. The wood burning oven is the center of both the dining room and the menu, which touts Polenta Bread, THE Double Cheeseburger, and Lasagna as highlights. If you go for brunch I highly recommend saving room to share the Crispy Cinnamon French Toast, which masters the technique of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Who to Bring: Families, parents, dates, friends - Rolo’s can handle anything you throw at them. The only group I would avoid bringing here would be lasagna purists, who might scoff at their interpretation of the classic.

What to Wear: Keep it casual, but trendy.

Reservations: Generally available for less popular times like early weeknights. For a Friday or Saturday night dinner you’ll want to book when reservations open, which is 28 days in advance at 10am on Resy.
